Tinderbox Records has been generated by the music sessions held at the Barefoot Café in Gunwalloe on ‘The Cliffs of Hell’ in Cornwall where so much exciting new talent has emerged.
Harry Fricker
At the tender age of 20, Harry, raised on North Devon breaks, is a musician, designer and promoter in shifting stages of development! He has arranged tours and promoted bands across the UK and has been integral in arranging the Barefoot Music Sessions which recently led to the successful Barefoot Sound Wave. He’s played a great deal of gigs and festivals and has managed to branch out to Canada.
Roger Thorp
After leaving film school, Roger worked in commercials, subsequently producing music video’s for U2, The Clash and Iggy Pop. He has also produced/directed programmes for NGO’s such as WWF, ILO and the Red Cross. Other art-house work by Roger has been screened in Rome, Barcelona, Copenhagen and London. He is proprietor of the Barefoot Café and co-creator of the Barefoot Sound Wave.
Lucy Thorp
Lucy’s background includes being press officer for Greenpeace and head of media for Sustrans and the 42m grant awarded National Cycle Network. She has also worked as art director in film and run her own successful PR company, Pinc. Most recently Lucy has successfully invited Michael Eavis to open Barefoot Sound Wave and promoted the event in the Guardian, Sunday Times blog and on BBC Radio.
